Below are answers to frequently asked questions about our events.

General Event Information

Q: What are the Journal of Community Nursing events?

A: JCN events are free educational conferences designed for healthcare professionals. They feature CPD-accredited sessions that focus on key areas relevant to your caseload and support your Revalidation requirements. The events also offer valuable networking opportunities, along with the chance to meet a wide range of exhibitors showcasing the latest products, treatments, and techniques.
Q: Who can attend the events?

A: Our events are open to all healthcare professionals. Registration is free, but spaces are limited.
Q: How do I register for an event?

A: You can register through the Events page by selecting the location you're interested in and completing the online registration form.

Before the Event

Q: How will I know my registration is confirmed?

A: Once you've registered, you will receive a confirmation email with event details. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it within 24 hours.
Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Registration typically opens at 8:45 AM, giving you time to meet our exhibitors before the sessions begin promptly at 9:30 AM.
Full timings will be available on our website. Simply go to the “Events” tab, select the location you are attending, and view the agenda.
We will also send out an email with the full agenda and timings closer to the event.
Q: What should I bring with me?

A: Bring a notepad and pen if you like taking notes.

On the Day

Q: Will food and drinks be provided?

A: Yes, complimentary refreshments and lunch will be provided for all attendees. Please let us know any dietary requirements during registration.
Q: Is parking available at the venue?

A: Parking availability varies by location. Please check the individual event listing or your confirmation email for details.

After the Event

Q: How can I find my CPD-accredited certificate of attendance?

A: Certificates are usually emailed the next working day after the event. If you haven’t received yours, please check your junk or spam folder.
Additionally, you can access your certificate directly through your JCN account by following these steps:
  1. Log in to your JCN account using your email address and password.
  2. Click on "My Profile" in the top right corner.
  3. Select "My Events", and you'll see a "Download Certificate" button next to the relevant event.

Q: Can I access session recordings or presentation slides?

A: Yes, session highlights and recordings are made available on our website once the last event of the year has taken place. These can be found under the "Events" drop-down section, and you can then select the relevant year to access the materials.

Q: Can I update or cancel my registration?

A: Yes, you can update or cancel your booking by logging into your JCN account and making the changes under your event registration. If you experience any difficulties, please email our Events Manager, Georgina Holder, at georgina@jcn.co.uk, including your full name, the email address used to register, and the event details.
