Hallam Medical is looking for Band 5 District Nurses to support services in the Surrey area.

We would love to hear from experienced District Nurses with full or part time availability looking for work in this area.

About the Role:
This opportunity is for a private healthcare provider and offers a variety of shifts; including days, nights and weekends, so perfect to fit in with your busy schedule.

As part of this role you will see a variety of patients presenting to the service with a variety of health issues and illnesses.

You will visit patients; both within a GP surgery setting and in patients own homes.  You will assess their needs, and plan and manage their care.

Duties include:

• administering medication and injections
• monitoring temperature, blood pressure and breathing
• carrying out physical examinations
• carrying out catheter care, pressure area care, wound care and  bandaging.
• monitoring blood glucose levels

Educational Requirements
To be eligible for this role you must:

•  be NMC registered Nurse

Skills Set:
To be eligible for this role you must have:

• excellent communication, observation and listening skills
• record-keeping and organisational skills

Educational Requirements:

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

 Hallam Medical are looking for Dual Skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Care Practitioners  to work in an Urgent Care Centre in the Bracknell area.

We need highly motivated, fully autonomous practitioners who are able to work within a fast paced setting. 

About the Role:
Main duties will include:

- The assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharging of patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries. 

- Prescribing/Using PGDs when necessary.
 

- Previous experience of working within  Walk In Centres, Primary Care Centres or Urgent Care Centres is essential. 

- Experience of using SystmOne and/or Adastra is required.
