CONCLUSION
Venous disease and venous eczema
can affect quality of life (González-
Consuegra and Verdú, 2011;
Maddox, 2012), and if not managed
appropriately can lead to further
deterioration in health and quality of
life. Healthcare professionals are in
a unique position to work with the
person to treat existing problems and
manage venous disease to reduce
the risk of further complications and
improve well-being.
