Application and removal...
The following tips will help with application:
A hosiery applicator can be used to aid application and concordance
Ideally, hosiery measurements should be taken in the morning
to reduce the impact of any oedema
Apply hosiery first thing in the morning when the leg is the
least swollen
A liner can be used to assist with application.
Hosiery should be removed if the patient experiences any of the
following:
Leg becomes painful
Leg become itchy
Hosiery feels tighter than previously
There is a loss of sensation in the leg.
